This project required a tight turn around. This is where BCVR Immersive began its development of the experience. The pumpkin beers would be in a selection box containing 6 bottles. Overall, the AR experience needed to focus on the beer and the packaging.

To do this, BCVR immersive suggested creating and launching an augmented reality experience.īut with a limited budget and a limited timeframe, BCVR Immersive had to be creative, adaptable and quick to deliver the desired project on time. Having previously partnered with NBC to include Chucky on beer bottles, Elysian wanted to take the partnership one step further and do something more immersive to hit their key objectives.īeing a creative brand, regularly showcasing this on Instagram and its other social channels, immersive technology felt like a good fit to extend the brand into a more immersive space to drive interactivity and engagement.

These boxes would be displayed and sold in grocery stores throughout Halloween across the USA.

The experience was created to showcase the new series of Chucky on NBC while also advertising the special pumpkin beer box for Halloween produced by Elysian Brewery.Įlysian Brewery created a Pumpkin Pack beer collection which included beers such as Punkuccino Coffee Pumpkin Ale, Dark O' The Moon, Great Pumpkin Ale and Night Owl Pumpkin Ale.

They aim to create immersive experiences for brands incorporating AR, VR and MR technology.īCVR worked with Elysian Brewery, a small Seattle based brewery and a part of the Anheuser-Busch Group who also brew other popular Budweiser, Stella, Estrella and Hoegaarden. They work on a range of projects including film and sound production and immersive production.

Free and open to all ages, the event will feature the biggest and best pumpkins grown from the local farmers, and the winning pumpkin will receive the honor of being tapped at GPBF.BCVR Immersive are a creative group based in London. The event arrives one week after Elysian’s 2nd annual Great Pumpkin Weigh-Off on October 1st. Pumpkin Fest judges will wade through the crowds to select the most festive to win a thirst-quenching prize including Elysian swag. Guests are encouraged to embrace the color of the festival – orange – in any way they would like to represent. During the pumpkin-themed event, more than 80 pumpkin beers will be poured, including Night Owl, The Great Pumpkin, Dark o’ the Moon and Punkuccino from Elysian’s pumpkin-crazed brewers, along with pumpkin beers from around the country.Īlso during the Great Pumpkin Beer Festival, the Elysian team will officially tap a giant, several-hundred pound pumpkin that has been scooped, scorched, filled with delicious pumpkin beer and then sealed and conditioned for all attendees to enjoy.
